It's four minutes after ten, and I feel really bad now.

I think Nick did such a lovely job of looking back over the carcass of the last decade,

picking over the bones to bring you the choicest morsels. I'm planning a relatively normal show,

despite this being the last that we will spend together, not least because for many people,

this week doesn't necessarily deliver the sort of relaxation and joy that it does

for the rest of the country. It's Monday morning and we will be wading into the, to the big

stories of the moment, at least for the first two hours of the program. For the third hour,

I am tempted to ask you for your predictions for the next 10 years.

And I hope it'll work.

Well, only one way to find out if it doesn't will change pace.

And indeed, gear at approximately quarter past 12.

But until then, I'm giving you early warning, early notice of that,

so that there's no excuse for you not to

join in. It might also be a nice opportunity. If you've been listening to, if you're one of the

many, many, many people who've discovered LBC this year and you haven't quite found the correct

or the opportunity to ring in yet, then that might be a

lovely way to do it. Unless your prediction is catastrophically bad, in which case I will tear your head off

and hang it from the top of my Christmas tree. Five minutes after ten is the time. Shall we begin with

the Gary Neville story? And I don't know if you're across it yet. And also the Stormsy story that bubbled up at the weekend. The Stormsy story was weird. Even as someone who is increasingly depressed, I suppose, is the word, to see his own predictions of the so-called

culture wars come horribly, horribly true.

I'm spectacularly wrong about one thing that I thought would have happened by now.
