I'm a team standpoint, obviously not to start you guys wanted, these first two on the road, but how do you process that as you move forward here to the home opener? It's embarrassing. You know, and typically in the past I've played that stopper role, and today I just let the guys down, especially when we scratch one early in the first, and then for me to give it right back and then ultimately get them to lead at the bottom of the first.

It's unacceptable.

You know, we're about to go home and I expect us to have a better response once we get there,

especially with an off day to really sit on these tough times.

But, you know, today I felt like we made the adjustment.

Ultimately, it was me that kind of screwed the game up for us.

Well, that was Garrett Crochet speaking on behalf of every Red Sox fan and describing it as embarrassing and unacceptable where this Red Sox team is at.

I will say we're a week into the season, so it's early.

But that's one win that they have been able to accumulate.

Not what I think many accept it.

Right.

A week into the season and you're losing games three to two because you're not hitting,

but your pitching's been good. You can go, all right, maybe the bats will come around.

But a week into the season when your starting pitching and your bullpen has been horrendous.

And your defense.

And your defense.

And that was the biggest thing that you told us as what you felt like was going to set you apart was going to be your pitching and your defense.

And that's the biggest issue.

That's concerning.

You know, and I granted, it's only, you know, one stop for everybody but crochet.

And I'm not concerned so much with crochet because I think he'll be fine.
