And today we are going to be talking about who the Holy Spirit is, what the gifts of the

Spirit are in case you don't know.

This is a two-part episode and last week's episode, part one, we covered who the Holy Spirit

is, what the Trinity is, what the fruit of the Spirit is versus the fruit of the flesh.

So go listen to the last week's episode first, cue this one up next, but I'm really

excited to carry on our conversation about the Holy Spirit and specifically the gifts

of the Spirit.

Now, I do want to add one thing that I actually forgot to mention in last week's episode

as we mentioned the fruit of the Spirit and that is that the fruit of the Spirit is from

the Spirit.

Now I know that we touched on that and that seems kind of like, okay, a very obvious statement

to make at the beginning of a podcast.

But yeah, guys, the fruit of the Spirit, it is a result of him, it's an act from him,

it is a work and a doing of him within us.

Maybe we can look at the list of the fruit of the Spirit from last week, you know, love,

joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

And think, well, I need more joy.
