Hello, there I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

That was what Republican governor Ron DeSantis, a possible 2024 hopeful, told his constituents

in his state of the state address Tuesday of this week.

So before we get into what to expect next, here's a quick rundown of what we've already

seen from DeSantis.

And what we'll basically perhaps start to look like his agenda or whatever you want to

call it in his legislative agenda here in Florida.

It's a very ambitious and he's got a super majority Republican legislature.

So the first thing that is going to get a lot of headlines is abortion.

Florida Republicans have proposed an abortion ban that would start up through six weeks.

There would be a number of exceptions, but six weeks is the headline number, meaning

they would prohibit abortion before many women even know their pregnant.

There's gun rights and while the governor's signal support that he would be supportive of

open carry, it might not be something that gets to his desk.

We'll get to that.

Perhaps he would like to expand his migrant relocation program and mandate companies to check

employee immigration status.

That looks like a presidential campaign type of piece of his agenda.

And then there's his war on woke, which he wants to continue in education.

All of it seems to be what his state of the state was, which was pitching himself as the
