Summary

Space obsessed Shawn Moondez is on hand to educate us about the overview effect of looking down on Earth from space.

Thanks to Dan in Leeds’ brilliant idea we ripped up today’s show plans to focus on which UK Huns we should send in to space. Spoiler alert we decided on Gemma Collins, Alison Hammond, Carol Vorderman, Denise Welsh and Natalie Cassidy. Strong list.

It’s nearly time to get your tent out the shed and pitch up in a festival campsite. So we’re hearing all your ‘Festival Things’. P.s you’re all gross!

Liv smashes it out the park with her performance on Yesterday’s quiz. Can anyone beat her super score of 17?

And of course I'll get you up to date with all the latest things!

kissing it and then retreating quickly and running home.

I'm feeling weightless.

I feel like Katie Perry for 11 minutes. Sean Moondez, welcome back to the

breakfast show. Hello, it's good to be back. This is Sean Mundez, our space expert, and there

was so much chat yesterday. You couldn't move for the memes yesterday of everyone floating around

1:25.8

in the little capsule and then coming back down to Earth with quite a big bump, actually.

1:31.0

So this was the thing that, what everyone's calling it, the Katie Perry mission, really, where she was weightless for a bit yesterday.

1:37.8

And I was surprised, Sean, that it was such a short journey.

1:41.8

Oh, yeah. It was like less than 11 minutes long and they were in space for less time

1:49.8

than the steamed hams bit from the Simpsons. Okay, sure. So that's, yeah, not long at all. But you know,

1:56.6

it still counts. It still counts. They did technically go into space. Oh yeah. Absolutely. And if, you know, I'm going to be a massive hypocrite here.

If I was offered a spot on that rocket, I would take it in a heartbeat, but I'm not a millionaire, so I wasn't.
