begin by just hearing a little bit about how you came to faith and whether or not that had an

influence on your understanding of mission and community.

Yeah, sure. I became a Christian when I was nine. I had gone to church ever since I was born,

I guess. My mom and dad were Christians and quite involved in our local church, a relatively small

church, about 50 members maybe. And at the age of nine,
