Guy, this seems like a dream move really for Ben Davis.

It's come out of the blue for all of us and I'm sure a lot of Liverpool fans probably hadn't even heard of Ben Davis or certainly this Ben Davis just a few hours ago.

No certainly I think it's sort of still what Yergen Klop said after the win over West Ham United, doesn't he play for Tottenham?

There is another one of course, as you mentioned, the one who plays for Preston North End and

yeah, it's seemingly come out of nowhere think it's it's one of those from

Liverpool can he bit of transfer operating a player who's got six months or less than

six months to run on his contract one of the standout performers or center halves in the championship has been over

the last three or four seasons now and yeah Liverpool have had a look at him and decided actually this might be

the guy to certainly help get through to the end of the season.

Yeah, certainly a position that Liverpool needed a bit of added depth.

And the thing that I think it struck me when this news sort of broke out last night I mean everyone on the

Preston side of things seem really happy to be losing such a big player which is a slightly

strange position to be in for a club like Preston who are losing a player who is supposedly this good.

I mean why exactly was the reaction like that and why are people so happy for him that he's got this move?
