Luke chapter 4, I'm going to preach a brand new message today. Luke chapter 4 in verse one says Jesus full of the Holy Spirit

left the Jordan and was led by the spirit into the wilderness where for 40 days he was tempted

by the devil by show hands anybody you've ever been tempted before.

And by the way, can I just make a note real fast before we go any further?

Just because you're full of the spirit, that doesn't mean the devil's not going to tempt you.

Somebody say amen.

So Jesus, fall of the Holy Spirit was led into the wilderness, not prominence, not into the neighborhood, not the city, the wilderness.

Some of you just need to be okay with a wilderness season every once in a while, where sometimes not everybody's around and you don't get to have fun like the last season was.

Sometimes God will take you into a wilderness season, but remember, loneliness will make you lethal.

Well, Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit.

God appointed him into the wilderness, where for 40 days he was tempted by the devil.

He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them, he was hungry.

You think? You you think for 40 days

this man does not eat he is craving a snickers bar somebody say amen he's hungry and the devil

said to him this is what he says to jesus says jesus if you are the son of god tell this stone to become some gluten-free bread.

And Jesus answered him and said,

It is written, man shall not live on bread alone.

Then the devil led him up to a high place

and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.
