Right, Zabi Alonzo is staying at buying Lavercouzen.

And David, no, we all found out about it last week when he did a press conference.

Are you surprised, though, that he's staying at Buying Leiberg-Ferkusen?

Well, first, let's not be wise after the event because a lot of supporters,

members of the public, when we report these things and explain the background that we have

learned, they say, well, why weren't you saying that at the time? It's because you have

conversations and make checks around these stories and you uncover stuff that you simply didn't know before.

And that is that Jabby Alonzo's intention was always to remain with Baye Leverkusen.

That had been coming out publicly over the last few months, but it was like nobody seemed to believe

it. You thought if he's going to win the league title in Germany, if he's going to go far in

the Europa League, then what will there be left to achieve by staying for one more season?

Of course he's going to move.

And I think many of us got sucked into that.

I suspected that a move would come when these big guns come calling, then a manager tends to pack his bags and
