one which is always interesting it is the start of the long summer recess. MPs are away from Westminster.

And it is a chance.

There's never really a pause, to be honest,

even when Parliament's not sitting for a long time in politics.

But there's a sort of brief sense of a break.

And it is the chance we get to reflect on the political year as a whole rather than pegging our discussion

to one immediate drama that's being played out. So that's what we're going to do. Look back at a year,

which incident you saw the launch of Not Another One, the election of that landslide Labour government,

and so many twists and turns since that.

I'm glad you have the launch of our podcast and the election of a labour landsliders of equal importance.

Historians will rate both as hugely significant moments in the history of Britain.

Let's sort of do it sequentially beginning with the government.

Now, at Tim's suggestion, we're going to give Marx out of 10.

We'll do that at the end of our discussion on each of the parties

that we pluck out for our assessment. So at the end of the, I mean, it's been extraordinary year for Kyrs-Darmer, beginning with that triumph of the landslide.

And many cabinet ministers sort of almost under the radar getting on and doing some things, I would argue some good things.

I think the two of you

would say not so good things. But where is he at the end of his first political year, Ian?
