Frankly, since stepping into this host chair, I've tried to strike a more dignified approach on this podcast, maybe a little bit of a Peter Jennings vibe.

But right now, I'm about to lose my mind. I'm coming in super hot off a Tuesday night game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Sons.

The big headline story from that game was Deandre Aiden, the number one pick who had been suspended for 25 games for drugs, was making his first game back since the suspension.

The Sons are going through some injury issues, so it actually wound up being a really good showcase environment.

Here comes this guy, lots of hype as a number one pick. Obviously they took him over Luca, they took him over Trey.

And this is going to be sort of his opportunity to reintroduce himself to the NBA. Kind of a low pressure environment.

You know, you're expecting them to get killed by the Clippers. So let's see what he can do.

I promise the Sons fans who are going to say, oh God, here goes Ben, killing our favorite team again, that I went into last night with an open mind.

I promise you guys I did that. I got some serious concerns, Michael. And it's going to start before the game even began.
