So on this edition of Nomad Extra, we are taking the opportunity to get to know Laura and Hannah a little bit better.

Laura, could we start by asking you how you became a Christian, please?

I've been to church all my life, really.

My dad's a Methodist minister.

So I sort of, I think I would have considered myself a Christian when I was a child.

When I sort of became a teenager, I just kind of wasn't really interested and I didn't

feel like it was for me and I wasn't sure that I believed it.

So I just kind of went and did my own thing really and I don't know, just perhaps got into

a lot of things that weren't good and when I got to about 16 sort of was in

the long-term relationship with someone who wasn't a Christian and I went to uni and when I was at

uni I bumped into some people from the Christian Union when I was on my way back to halls had

their tin of beans in one hand and some cigarettes in the other hand and um yeah i think

they weren't quite sure to make for me because i kind of knew quite a lot about church but i just wasn't

really interested so they tried to get me to come along to something um and uh i really wasn't planning

and going and then on the night i just thought I'll just go and see what it's
