What's up, everybody? Welcome to another episode of the Mets Pod. We are back from the holiday

hiatus. I'm your host, Connor Rogers,

joined as always by my co-host, Joe DiMaio, and we wait for some Carlos Correa news.

Joe, I got so bored waiting. I am in Las Vegas. If I look a little different, everybody,

that is why, so I'm having a good time here. But Joe, a happy new year to our audience

and everybody. How are you doing, man? It's time to bring you in. Doing great. I was wondering when

you joined the Zoom, if you're going to be hanging from a chandelier or what exactly was going to be

going on here. But no, definitely excited to be back after the break. So like you said,

Happy New Year everybody. And I certainly didn't think two weeks ago when we were recording

our Carlos Correa emergency episode that we'd come back and we still wouldn't actually

have Carlos Correa as a New York Met. Nothing official yet. I will say the optimistic side for all Mets fans is that it sounds like this, and it has

been this way through the holidays up until us recording at this very moment.

This has been an ongoing process between the New York Mets and, of course, Scott Boris

and Carlos Correa. It hasn't

turned into a situation like we saw on the other end of things where it didn't work out with

the Giants, 12 hours went by, but it sounds like radio silence, the Mets swooped in and got
