We’re kicking off Sustainability Month with our first guest! Twenty five years ago, long before “clean” beauty was a buzzword, Brook Harvey-Taylor launched Pacifica Beauty. Now, she’s considered the godmother of the movement, dedicating her life’s work to creating quality beauty that’s accessible to everyone and better for our planet. During our interview, Brook shares how she got her start selling perfumes at Grateful Dead concerts, how the term “clean” has evolved over the last three decades, and what people may not know about “greenwashing” in the sustainable beauty space.
