Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today.

It's still cold.

It's bitterly freezing outside.

But do not worry because the weekend, boys and girls, is around the corner.

Be thankful that here in London, we have not had the bad weather that the rest of the

country have had to put up with. I feel immensely sorry for them, but it is just absolutely

amazing that we've got away with it. Even though yesterday I was on the photo of a friend of mine,

I said, do you have snow? And she went, no. She said, we tend not to get snow down in Brighton.

I don't know whether it's the sea breeze. I've got no idea what it is. I just know that I wanted to get some snow. Only a little bit. Only a little bit. Talking to Alec from the balmy arms, we want a little bit of snow. We want to look out the door and go, great picture opportunity. And then back inside and then we get sunshine. That'd be quite nice, wouldn't it?

Phil Vickery has finally admitted that I'll say it again. He says, Steve Allen is the best show

on the radio. Thank you. We like to think so too. We like to think so too. And I think it's

reflected in the figures. I mean, the audience figures are just, I've said before, you know,

really, we have the big spike. Sunday evening, fantastic. Sunday morning for breakfast. We're

just, we're just wiping the floor with everybody. So thank you very much indeed for that,

which means that I'm here every Saturday morning between five and seven for the best of. So you get the best of Steve Allen on Saturday morning

between five and seven just before Andrew Pierce comes along. And then on Sunday morning,

in conversation, and then I'm live with the Sunday papers between six and eight just before
