Believers always have access to God's immeasurable grace and mercy.

Today's podcast brings an important lesson on where to go when in need.

When you feel depressed, rejected, lonely, insecure, mistreated, talked about when you feel so uncertain,

so ostracized by others, when you feel deep down inside that nobody really

cares, where do you turn? In this fourth chapter of Hebrews, the writer is talking about the rest that God has provided

for us and then he comes to talk about the power of the word of God.

It's like a sharp two-edged sword and then beginning in the 13th verse he begins what we want to talk about and that is where to go when in need

He says in verse 13 and there is no creature hidden from his sight, but all things are open and

laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the

heavens Jesus, the son of God. Let us hold fast our confession. For we do not

have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has

been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of

grace that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. Now the two things I want us to see in this passage

that are very important because all of us find ourselves at times in those

situations and circumstances where our first response may be. What should I do now?

Why do I turn now? And he tells us exactly this passage where to turn.

Listen to what he says. He says, let us therefore draw near with confidence to the

throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Now God says that when you and I face some need in our life

some temptation, some trial, some difficulty, he says we are to go to the throne of
