Welcome back to the continued coverage of the 1998 disappearance of then 19 year old Troy Cook. In the prior episode, Where is Troy Cook, Troy's father Tom shared the details of his

son's life leading up to his disappearance and

discussed his now 20-year search for answers in the case. During that episode I

made a point to focus only on the facts of the case rather than digging deeply into the various theories that have attached themselves to the story over the last 20 years.

In tonight's episode, the second part of Where is Troy Cook, the focus will zoom out and now feature a general

discussion surrounding the case, including the speculation that now covers it like a moss.

I didn't feel it appropriate to have this type of conversation

with Tom or anyone else closely connected with the case, so I invited a fellow crime writer

to join me on the show and examine the many moving parts along with me.

You may recall a portion of the prior episode where I mentioned the media coverage Troy's

disappearance had received and I specifically called out my favorite piece as being

one written by a friend named Bev Kettie. As his piece served as my true

introduction to this heartbreaking story and was so wonderfully written I knew Bev would be the perfect guest and as such I invited him to record a conversation over coffee.

Tonight's episode will feature that conversation with Frank magazine crime writer Bevkettie.
