In this episode, our story is going to take us to Hamilton, Ontario, in the time surrounding New Year's Day of 2022.

At the center of this story, as 23-year-old mother of two, Emily Bailey.

While juggling mental health struggles and addiction, Emily was living a life resembling

something between homelessness and couch surfing. But she was reliable. She

posted regularly to Tik-Toc and she had scheduled visits with her children that she would never

miss. But she did miss one in early January and that led to people close to Emily checking in on

each other and very quickly it was determined that no one had seen or heard

from her in over a week. And concern immediately turned to panic. Now, over four months later,

no sign of Emily has surfaced and given the transient nature of her life

even the trail leading up to her disappearance is filled with mystery

obscured with conflicting statements by the unreliable witnesses to her last known days.

But what is known for sure is that her family is desperate to find her and get answers to the many questions associated with her

disappearance. And tonight we're going to hear from one of the broken-heart-out

loved ones she left behind. In this episode of Nighttime I'm going to be joined by Lori Bevin, Emily's mom, to discuss the still unexplained

disappearance of her 23-year-old daughter, Emily Bailey.
