Dettlin Rice played with a broken toe yesterday, although there was no confirmation of that from Mikhail Artetta when he was asked. It was very, the usual, I'm not telling you anything, so you just have to guess. I mean, I was wondering about a time when you were, when you played or worked through the pain. Adrian, you must have done this. I like, I mean, how often were you

fully fit, to be honestly? I mean, that's probably a better question, isn't it, for footballers?

Yeah, yeah, often, yeah, my foot, was it, well, my feet are a mess these days. So many foot injuries,

people treading on them. But no, I do have experience of playing with a broken toe. It happened. And

it wasn't easy. I've got to say, I play for South End

towards the end of the season. And yeah, I broke my toe. I can't remember

if someone trod them a little toe or whatever. And you think little

toe is nothing. Little toe is probably the worst one, along with

big, because it's pressed against the side of your boot.

And so basically I had to have a jab before the game.

Literally, you know, you've done your warm up kind of thing and then they jab me.

And it kind of wear off about 70 minutes.

And I said this to Dan Roebuck on commentary.

It was like it numbed it for about 70 minutes. And then

it was like you either grit your teeth and get through it or you kind of have to come off.

And when did Declan Rice come off? He came off around about the 70 mini mark. So I don't know
