Welcome back to the morning mindset. My name is Carrie Green and I am so glad you are

taking the time to connect yourself to right thinking this morning. Right thinking happens as we focus on truth, doesn't it?

People who are not focused on truth, people who live their life in ways that are contrary to truth are people we say are crazy or

insane, right?

They have not grasped reality around them and ordered their life

accordingly. And as believers in Christ, we do not want that to be us.

Amen. We want our minds to be aligned with the truth and in particular the

truth as God defines it because God himself is truth. That's the goal of the morning

mindset. That's what we are trying to do this morning.

And as we look at Psalm chapter 15, I want us to consider a question. You know we often as believers say that we want to dwell closely with

God. We want to walk closely with him. Okay we're talking in relational terms when we say that.

We want our heart to feel close to his heart.

We want him to feel close to us and us to feel close to him, you know, vice versa. How does that actually come about? Well, thank God, the primary

avenue through which we are able to get that kind of a relationship with God comes through Jesus Christ, our

Savior, right? He died on the cross to make it possible for sinners like you and me

to be drawn into close relationship with God.

And beyond that, there's nothing that can do to make that more a reality,

but there are things that we can do to help maintain and strengthen that

relationship. And that is what Psalm 15 is talking about. Now I have to be honest that

back in the day in which Psalm 15 was written they did not have the

full revelation of Jesus Christ that we have.

And so this Psalmist was speaking more from a legal standpoint, meaning from a view of the Old
