Hello listeners. It's now been over six weeks since four-year-old Jack and his six-year-old sister, Lily Sullivan, were reported missing from their rural Nova Scotia home. As we detailed in a

series of previous nighttime episodes, the children's mother and stepfather told police that when

they awoke at around 10 a.m. on Friday,

May 2nd, they found Jack and Lily gone with no sign of where they may have went or how they left.

Since then, this case has found itself teetering somewhere between a missing person's investigation

and what seems to be a criminal investigation. And as expected, over the past week, the story has continued to develop.

There was a third and seemingly final large-scale ground search in the area surrounding the children's home.

There was a community-organized candlelight vigil for the children.

There was yet another RCMP press update on the status of the investigation.

And of course, the children's stepfather Daniel Martel continued to share his inside details on the investigation

and some behind-the-scenes information with the press.
