It's now been over five months since four-year-old Jack and his six-year-old sister, Lily Sullivan,

were reported missing from their home in rural Nova Scotia. As we

detailed in this ongoing series of episodes, the children's mother and stepfather told police

that when they awoke at about 10 a.m. on the morning of Friday, May 2nd, Jack and Lily were gone.

And since then, the case has twisted and turned in nearly every direction, yet to this point none have led back to

Jack or Lily. But thanks to a recent update, I think we can scratch at least one possible

explanation off the list. The RCMP major crime unit just announced the result of their

recently carried out but often requested cadaver dog search in the areas surrounding the children's home.
