We began a conversation about what to do when your story stalls or when you feel stuck in your story

or which doesn't seem like things are going on or you don't like your life or however you want to kind of name that.

And with me again for part two here is Alan Arnold

and our dear pal Sam Ainsley.

We were just kind of sharing some personal stories and I pick up with a story this

week for me when the theater thing blew up I really lost heart I really lost heart and I made some pretty deep agreements and some of the agreements

went along the lines of your dreams don't really matter you just got to get it done

just get it get it done. Just get something going, right?

It's not really about passion, desire, heart,

like the world doesn't care about that stuff.

And that's part's actually pretty true. You know know world doesn't really care about your

heart right uh... just get something going and so i took a job in washing d c and for the

first year,

it was pretty thrilling.

You know, I was going to the Supreme Court for having sakes,

and I was actually was having lunch in the White House,

and you know, there was some pretty sexy things going on in that world for me you

know in terms of like wow that's an amazing you know opportunity for a young man late 20s

early 30s you know and people were saying to me, you know, all that affirmation, man, you're really a rising star in this area.

That worked for a while, kind of the excitement worked for a while, and then the excitement wore off. And it was just, this is what I do for a while and then the excitement wore off and it was just this is what I do

for a living and I woke up one day to realize I was incredibly unhappy. I don't like what I do for a living. I mean I literally woke up and went
