I considered covering it all in detail but it is so chock full of misinformation (I really mean it, almost everything Miguel claims is not true and many of their answers are ignoring the real issues at hand) that I decided not to address all of it. You are welcome to watch it but please know that he is wrong on history, wrong on 1st century culture, wrong on Greek, wrong on Anselm and how the early Christians viewed Jesus, wrong on the nature of sin and complicity and almost never right at all. Because I want to equip you to think biblically about things and not to try to control what you can and can't listen to. You should be able to see that I have not misrepresented these guys but have honestly dealt with misinformation and spiritually dangerous teachings.

0:04.8	Did you know that there's a part of the gospel of Mark where Jesus uses a racial slur?
0:10.2	In Mark chapter 7, there's the account of the seraphination woman, a woman who is Syrian
0:14.3	and Greek, both of which there were strong biases against within the Jewish community.
0:19.1	And she comes to ask Jesus to heal her daughter who's possessed by a demon.
0:23.4	And what is Jesus' response?
0:25.4	He says, it's not good for me to give the children's food, meaning the children of Israel's
0:29.4	food to dogs.
0:31.6	He calls her a dog.
0:33.6	What's amazing about this account is that the woman doesn't back down.
0:36.7	She speaks truth to power.
0:38.2	She confronts Jesus and says, well, you can think that about me, but even dogs deserve
0:42.9	the crumbs from the table.
0:44.6	Her boldness and bravery to speak truth to power actually changes Jesus' mind.
0:49.2	Jesus repents of his racism and extends healing to this woman's daughter.
0:53.3	I love this story because it's a reminder that Jesus is human.
0:56.4	He had prejudices and bias.
0:58.4	And when he confronts it with it, he was willing to do his work.
1:01.4	And this woman was willing to stand up and speak truth.
