0:12.8	Friends, today we are continuing to talk about Hilda, who is one of the women that we study in my new book, Knowing God's Voice.

0:46.4	And in fact, I say this in the book, I've been to seminary twice and I had no idea who Haldah
0:51.9	was until I started to study her. And I think that's all the
0:55.0	more reason why we need to study her story. And so today we're thinking about the idea of speaking
1:00.8	the truth to somebody knowing it's going to hurt them. And I don't know if you've ever had an
1:05.7	experience like that, but I have, especially as a parent, I think we often find ourselves in those kinds of situations.
1:12.7	And so have you ever had to speak the truth to someone knowing it was going to hurt them,
1:17.0	knowing that they were going to have a hard time with it, but you still knew that that was what
1:21.5	God was calling you to do? That produces tension, and that kind of tension can feel heavy.
1:27.3	And it's normal to wrestle with
1:29.3	fear and with the timing of it and the weight of the responsibility of that. But what if the
1:34.5	truth that you are carrying is exactly what someone needs to hear in order for them to take
1:38.9	that next step, that next step of obedience to the Lord? And so in today's episode, that's
1:43.6	what we're talking about.
1:44.5	We're looking at that very moment in scripture where the prophet Halded decides to do exactly
1:49.0	that. And she delivers this hard word from the Lord. And it wasn't to a stranger and it wasn't to
