I had it in mind the talk with Zach about this today and just this.

As ATMs and bank branches close and Australians increasingly rely on digital payments,

one economist predicts the country will be cashless in the next few years, but there are fears

a world without banknotes will lead people unable to pay for essential goods and become

easy targets for cyber criminals. But no one's afraid that the government's going to make it a social credit system because

that's exactly what they're going to do.

So Zach and I do talk about that in this episode, but I got off by asking him early on about the coming

terrorist attacks that are going to happen here.

I say going to happen.

I'm reading an analysis that indicates there's about 2

million terrorists here. Alarmist? Well, it's blessed by a source that I really

trust Michael Yon, it doesn't, they have to be here.

Hamas, the Taliban, they're not stupid. There's a corrupt figurehead in running things who is obsessed with letting people

pour across this border. Of course they're here. Of course they're going to attack. Of course they're here of course they're going to attack of course

they are so I asked Zach not that we want to talk about finances in in lieu of

people's lives but it's a reality they will of course attack and when they do

there will be a financial effect so I asked him how do we hedge? He said that

we do something called buying volatility. I think to some certain extent owning oil and natural resources can

be like owning volatility. Owning things that typically benefit when things go

haywire, right? And there's some nuance to, because you can literally buy volatility and

then, you know, like I said, I see gold as a way of owning volatility. And we, it's just just big day for big topics.
