Summary

When your children walk with you, are they walking with a wise person?  Can they look at your seasoned responses, your insightful understanding of people, your fortitude in difficult times as they walk the moments of your daily life? Children watch us, listen to us when we are talking to others, hear us behind closed doors as we talk to our husband, see us in public. Our lives are the walk that our children will imitate.

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson. Welcome to Add Home with Sally and friends. I am recording

0:43.3

this on a Sunday night, you'll get it in just an hour or so, but I've been busy. I it seems

a minute let me go to the bathroom or get a cup of tea before I start again and of course

1:15.1

I am so grateful that we are also close because I miss my children there, my best friends,

1:23.8

my kindred spirits, the ones who think like I do, imagine that. I got to teach and educate

them and that we all think the same. Though everybody's individual and has come to their

1:34.0

own conclusions theologically, we all tend to come to the same conclusions even though

1:37.7

we're thousands of miles apart, which is kind of fun. But anyway, I've been quite busy.

1:43.4

I'm sure that you have in your own ways busy and restless both. I had a wall this weekend

1:50.2

again. Weekends are not my best because I think, okay, I'm going to take a little bit of

1:54.6

time off, which I don't have a lot of lately for many reasons. And then I don't have somebody

2:00.9

to take time off with. I wanted to make a couple of comments though. Joy and I were talking

2:05.9

this morning about how Dante opens his famous passages, his famous book right in the middle

2:13.3

of the story, like not at the beginning, but in the middle pathway. And I think that's

2:18.5

kind of where we are right now. We find ourselves in the middle going, okay, and Odysseus was
