Episode 210. When should I go pro? This is a question I get asked frequently. While there is no set timeline for taking the leap, you do need experience and education. 0:47.0	All right, well this is a question I get asked all the time and I want to share my thoughts with you. First of all you
0:56.0	need to ask yourself why you want to go pro. Is it because you have a deep love of
1:01.9	taro and you want to serve people?
1:05.0	Do people tell you that you're great and they want to pay you for your services?
1:09.3	Or do you assume it's a quick and easy way to make money?
1:13.0	You want to examine your motives carefully.
1:16.0	The reason why I say this is because too often people get into Tarot
1:21.0	and want to make the leap from hobbyists to professional without taking
1:26.0	the time to ponder their why.
1:28.4	While there's nothing wrong with wanting to turn your passion for Tarot into a career if you feel called to. There's also no reason to
1:35.8	monetize a hobby. And for some people this is truly a life calling. But for many
1:42.4	others it's a fun thing that may not morph into a livelihood.
1:47.9	I also recommend having a solid tarot education and real life experience reading the cards for people first.
1:57.3	Now this isn't something that happens overnight it takes time. I mean you can learn
2:01.6	about Taro through classes books and working with a mentor and I
2:06.0	highly recommend all three if possible but it's also vital that you read for a lot of
