Mark, I'd say that probably email is useful, but much more narrowly than most managers think.

it's a great tool it's grossly misused

people don't know how to do it they're in a low state of anxiety about email all the time they don't they don't know how to do it. They're in a low state of anxiety about email all the time.

They don't think about, and they use it as their first option, when in fact it should be

maybe second or third or fourth. And so what ends up happening is people use email

for the wrong things.

And then they reuse email for the same wrong things.

So we thought we just go through the top five things

that people use email for that most intelligent people
