Amen. Anybody in the room have crazy dreams?

Yeah, I got a couple.

My wife has wild dreams.

I'll spare you some of the ones that I've heard, but just know that if you talk with her at the Welcome to Church table today after this gathering,

that you will be probably chasing her down the Rio Grande wearing

a Spider-Man costume in jet skis later tonight, around 2 a.m. in her brain. That's going to happen.

I don't have nightmares very often anymore, but boy did I have some crazy ones when I was a kid.

The earliest dream I can remember was one where a giant

Godzilla-sized 2D Mickey Mouse was running in circles chasing my family trying to stomp on my

older brothers, which is a scary thing to wake up from. And I still don't see Mickey Mouse the same.

But probably the most terrifying nightmare of my life happened

somewhere around third or fourth grade, and I can remember it like it happened last night. And in the

dream, I'm walking down our hallway in the house I grew up in towards the living room. And on my left,

my parents are in the living room they're watching TV

and on my right is the front door and there's a man at the front door and all black with the

face of Hugh Laurie from house banging on our door and he's over here banging and my parents

are watching TV and he's looking at me and he's shouting I'm going to get you and I'm like are you all seeing this and I look back watching TV and he's looking at me and he's shouting, I'm going to get you.

And I'm like, are you all seeing this? And I look back at him and he's screaming at me and I look at my

parents. It's like, it's fine. You're fine. It's okay. And he's over here screaming, I'm going to get you.

And I'm like, I don't know what's happening. And then my right hand to make things crazier turns into like a magnet to the doorknop.
