Risky loans are making a comeback.

The Wall Street Journal has a piece about this.

I think it made its way

to drudge yesterday. And the biggest part of this are adjustable rate mortgages. And this is one of

the things that blew up the market before. People get these adjustable rate mortgages. They've got

a low interest rate for the first year or three years or five years in some cases. And then the

rates go up. And sometimes they just go up automatically. Sometimes

they go up because interest rates have gone up. There's different kinds. But basically, when

the rates go up, people get caught. And the growth in this, and the other thing is these

called non-QM, non-qualified mortgages.

They called them junk mortgages back in 2008, you know, when the bush crash happened.

The growth in that type of lending is increasing and the growth of companies that are not banks,

that don't have the kind of backing that banks have, but just do mortgages.

Meanwhile, a corrupt Supreme Court turned debate into death.

You know, Charlie Kirk is dead.

So is Democratic Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark.

So that's two clearly political assassinations in the past four months.

I'm no fan of Charlie Kirk, but nobody should be killed for their politics.

I mean, it's just that simple.

But there was this new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association's Pediatrics Journal that looked at deaths from more than 250 mass shootings in America.

And it's pretty amazing what they found.
