the past brought to life by those who were there. This week we'll be fighting the Brazilian

military dictatorship in the Amazon jungle.

And we covered ourselves with vegetation. Many times there were motorboats passing very close, but nobody noticed us.

Plus we've got a British aid and trade scandal from the 1990s the OPEC oil crisis from the 1970s

and we'll be trying to fight the flow of lava from a 1980s eruption of Mount

Etna. I feel as though I'm almost surrounded by the lava.

It's creeping forward, almost though it's a living thing.

And there's a nice tree.

Look at that, look at that there.

They're like huge rocks just setting fire to a tree.

That's all coming up later in the podcast. But first we're going back to the end of the 1990s and a strange moment in Belgian history.

In 1999, Belgian teenagers suddenly started to become ill after drinking Coca-Cola.

Many ended up in hospital with a variety of symptoms and the government banned the sale of all Coca-Cola products.

But after extensive tests the fizzy drink was given the all clear

so what was making the children sick?

Claire Bowes has been speaking to a Belgian toxicologist

about the anxiety which gripped Belgium at the time.

In the past few minutes, Luxembourg has joined Belgium in banning Coca-Cola products from the shells.
