It was a game that definitely was not taking that sort of shape early.

The wolves actually looked great in the first quarter.

They were turning it over a bunch, but defensively they were having their way with the Raptors.

Raptors only scored 20 in the first quarter. They're getting out aggressively on the

perimeter and limiting looks at the rim for Toronto. And I thought Cat specifically was rolling

on both sides of the ball to start this game. In the first quarter, Kat had eight points,

seven boards, and three assists. But unfortunately, for the rest of the game, Kat only added eight more points to that total,

only three more boards, and zero assist, which kind of continues this trend for Kat

of hot first quarters and sort of tapering off as the game goes on.

And we've kind of asked Kat recently about that pattern of, you know, kind of hot first

quarters and then it kind of slows down as the game goes on.

And he's pointed to the fact that teams are loading up on him more and more lately and more

and more as the game goes on in the second, third, and fourth quarter, which I think is accurate.

You know, when, when Kat gets going, that's when you see the doubles coming earlier and more often.

Or tonight you saw the box in one look that the Raptors threw at them.

The question I have when these things are happening, where Kat's shot total is big and then totally goes away

is whether or not there is more cat can do to play through that coverage i mean i i i don't know

i've never been double triple teamed and and felt like i needed to shoot more i i think it's
