the most joyful moment in sports is the soccer goal.

And when that goal happens at the World Cup,

well it's pretty good.

I'm Brian Phillips, with the 2022 Men's World Cup approaching. I'm making a

podcast called 22 goals on the Ringer Podcast Network. It's about 22 of the most

because Simmons hates when we banter.

I'm just going to say this, just to start the episode. I have

not been this excited and happy to record in a long time. Why is that? I

destroyed about half the office about 30 minutes ago. He exaggerated.

So it was a quarter. Smash the phone, kicked a few boxes, busted up some

merch, but I'm feeling, I literally am on an adrenaline high after losing my mind

and just breaking things and going outside and slamming my truck door.

Should we start a fight club before every episode?

I'm glad I had the avalanche by the way. Had that happened in the range, I would have gotten in trouble.

But the avalanche, you cannot hurt that truck. Point being, the frustration is out.
