0:38.1 | episode that you might want to know when you start to consider if the increased price is quote |
0:42.6 | unquote worth it. Here we go. When I first started cruising, I'm pretty sure we never thought |
0:52.2 | that we would stay in anything more than maybe a balcony room. |
0:55.7 | To us at that point in our lives, budget-wise, it just was, a suite was just something that |
1:00.2 | was kind of, you know, it was almost funny to think about. |
1:03.0 | In the same way that you laugh when you talk about things you'll do after you win the lottery, |
1:07.3 | booking a suite was kind of in that sort of thought because we just assumed that a sweet stateroom |

1:49.3 | And at the end of the day, and what I talked about at the very beginning of this episode, |
1:52.8 | is that sweets are a splurge, and they can be a somewhat expensive splurge. |
1:57.6 | I mean, at the end of the day, you're going to be paying more for a suite than you will be for a balcony room, that you'll be more than a from an inside and an ocean view room. I mean, it's just sweets are of that nature. But it doesn't mean that sweets have to be inherently prohibitively expensive beyond where, you know, normal people can't afford it. We're not talking about, you know, affording Lamborghinies or buying a mansion here. |
2:18.9 | We're talking about a almost, I like to think, more like a first class experience on an airplane, |
2:24.6 | where, you know, in a lot of cases, the upgrade cost between first class and economy, it's not |
