It's almost two weeks now since the new tranche of Epstein files were released by the US Department of Justice

and landed like a grenade in middle of the British establishment.

Morgan McSweeney, Downing Street, Chief of Staff, has resigned.

He had advised the Prime Minister to appoint Mandelson, despite his ties to Geoffrey Epstein.

His time as Director of Communications, Tim Allen, has now also resigned.

Another one of those people who worked very closely with Peter Manderson.

After revelations from the latest tranche of Epstein Fowles became clear,

the pressure has been mounting on the UK's Prime Minister,

Sekeir Stama, to stand down.

New emails uncovered overnight appeared to show Andrew

when he was Britain's trade ambassador

was sending confidential documents via his office straight to Geoffrey Epstein.

Thames Valley Police said it was reviewing the files.

The Epstein files have convulsed the British system.

The police have launched investigations into a former prince and a former

minister, both of whom deny any wrongdoing. Buckingham Palace has expressed horror and offered

to help, and after a series of resignations at the heart of number 10, and amid a clamour of

public outrage, the files almost took down the Prime Minister.

A man who'd never even met Geoffrey Epstein, who didn't appear in the files, but was

criticised for his misjudgment in trusting somebody who did.

Meanwhile, in America, where Epstein was based and where much of his network was formed, relative silence.
