Jesus was following the Holy Spirit when the devil attacked him.

Satan attacked him when he was weak and tired.

Now the first thing the devil did, and I love this,

the first thing the devil did was he tried to make Jesus question who he was.

Watch this.

Then the devil said to him, verse three,

if you are the son of God,

if the devil ever said to you all, if you're saved, then why do you back that way? Well, if God loves you, why do you have these problems?

Okay? You know what he's doing? He's attacking your identity. He's attacking who you are in Christ because he knows if he can steal your confidence, he's got your identity. He's attacking who you are in Christ

because he knows if he can steal your confidence,

he's got your life.

You need to know that you're a child of God.
