This week the Tribeca Film Festival is still ongoing downtown Manhattan,

not very far from our office in fact.

And we welcome to IndieWire's film editor Kate Erbland to give us the rundown of this year's

festival with a couple of titles that might just be getting Oscar Buzz and a little

bit of discussion of what Tribeca is. It's its 15th anniversary and in some ways

it's still figuring that out. From there we discuss the Huntsman Winters War, which is a movie

opening this week that will not get any Oscar buzz I'm willing to predict but it does

include two Oscar nominees and costumes worthy of maybe every Oscar available and

we should have a kind of interesting possible fight about that. But first I look at the week in

Oscar News which finally brought us the can lineup. We've been in pay or Richard in

particular has been impatiently waiting to figure out what the heck's going to be

over there. Yeah. Yeah we're going for the third time this year.

Mike, he'll be out there as well, but very briefly, it seems.

So Richard, what are we excited about for Can?

Well, you know, I think that, you know, there's a lot to be excited about I think you know the thing that people are upset about

Understandably is that there are very few women represented with female directors which is too bad

About the same number is last year though.
