It's December 20th, and we are mixing in a weekend episode so we can talk about the

Wolves win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.

It was Oklahoma City's on Friday night was Oklahoma

City's third loss of the season. And I don't know if it was a must win for the wolves,

but I think at least for me, it felt like a game the wolves needed, a game they needed because

I don't know, this team felt like they needed to remind themselves of the level that they can get to.

They entered the game 17 and 10, good record, but only two of those 17 wins had come against teams with winning records.

The wolves for a long time have been a team in the Anthony Edwards era that has shown an ability

to level up against the highest competition.

You just look at the playoffs year after years since Ant has been here.

But this season, this team has not done that.

Two losses to Denver, two losses to the Lakers, got blown out by the Knicks,

lost to Oklahoma City earlier in the year, and even lost to Phoenix twice.

While I think it would be reasonable to lose to the 25 and to Oklahoma City Thunder,

I felt like they needed this. I felt like they needed this.

I felt like they needed a win like this before,

like the calendar turned to 2026. If they were again, you know,

going to this season be a team that was moving down the road of being a contender,

moving down a team that could get back to the level that they've been the last two seasons.
