I've got Wolf's Beat writer Jason Frederick from the Pioneer Press joining me today.

Normally, Jason does Wednesday mornings with me, but with the opener tomorrow, we figured

we'd try to squeeze this one in with a little bit more time in advance of the game.

Jason and I'm going to talk a little bit about what we're expecting in or what we're looking for in that opener.

But I also wanted to have Jason because he wrote a big feature on Jordan McLaughlin this week.

And I just feel like for me, as many preseason podcasts as I've done, like, J. Mack has, I think he's been the one that I've brushed over, uh, the most in the preseason

coverage. Like as much as I've talked about Brynn Forbes and Austin Rivers, like J-MAC's going to

play more than those guys I think and I just haven't, uh, I haven't really talked about him that

much. So I thought J-S, uh, Jason's feature was, was really good on, on J-MAX. So, so Jace, let's just, let's just start with that.

Start with JMAQ.

What, what made you want to write this story?

Because I get the sense with how you wrote it that you kind of feel like

JMAG hasn't gotten the recognition or, yeah, I guess just microscope that that he he deserves in advance of this season.

Yeah, that's how that is exactly how I feel.

And it is a carryover and it's something that I think always happens.

But we watched the playoffs last year and he was really good.

And we watched the end of the regular season last year and he was really good.

So digging into those numbers was interesting.

And, like, you see that.
