The biblical headship is basically this. It's a God assigned,

creational role and ordering of the household unit. And he's assigned that role to the husband,

to the man. He's given and endowed that man, specific manners of being, ways of thinking,

physical strength to protect, to provide, and to preside. And he does so under submission to Christ,

under submission to God. As a woman who has a husband who is not living in the role that she hopes for, that she

desires that he should be living in, this call can feel very heavy to be gentle and quiet

when you want to scream and shake and make things happen.

And it could be for all the right reasons.

But God's commands here, we're trusting his commands to operate quietly, gently, but also without compromise, but with consistency.

So this episode is for wives.

If you feel like you're carrying the spiritual load in your

household and you long for your husband to shoulder what is rightfully his burden to shoulder.

Embrace embrace the role that God's given him. Yeah. And he's ahead either way. And so we

just want to talk about how to encourage those husbands to take up that mantle. Yeah. And we always talk about this idea of headship is immutable. Uh, husband is the head of the household, whether he acknowledges it or not. For better for worse. For better or worse, either he's a good head. He's not he's a capable head. He's a willing head or he is a neglectful head. Either way, he's the head. And so we want to define that briefly.
