This is a two-part episode with my buddy Jesse Elder.

And this is a weird one.

Because it's me and Jesse in the same room.

Jesse and I have this relationship where we are both kind of life explorers,

and about every six months, it's like we come together to compare notes

about what is going on in the world.

And I reached out to Jesse because Jesse always has a unique opinion on things and I wanted

his opinion on world events.

And he's got a unique one.

Now he has some different conclusions than me.

And I don't agree with all of his perspectives.

You'll hear us disagree on masks, for example.

He doesn't wear them, I wear them.

What do you know?

It turns out you can disagree with friends and still say friends.

But in this episode, what I really wanted was his

total perspective on where we are in the history of humanity. I wanted to talk about the context

that we're living in rather than looking at just the immediate problems that we face. What

is this going to mean for how we move forward

as a society? And what you'll discover is that even though we disagree on some of the finer
