The race is on and it's all change at the top of Mercedes, with James Allison moving into the role of Chief Technical Officer and Mike Elliott succeeding him as technical director.

It may not sound like a big change, but it's a significant move for Mercedes with some big implications.

Well, Scott, hello, I'm obliged to ask, why are you now living either in a much smaller flat

or some kind of cupboard? I've taken inspiration from my favourite podcast,

Fake Doctor's Real Friends, the Scrubs rewatch show,

in which Donald Faison records his episode from inside, inside a cupboard, inside a wardrobe,

better acoustics.

So I've decided to, I've decided that sounds really

nice and that is definitely the reason why I don't sound so good on podcast. It's definitely where

I'm recording from. So I figured I'd move into our makeshift tiny, where it's a glorified cupboard

and see if it improves.

But no,

the reality is I actually,

I haven't to record this podcast standing up

because I have hurt my back in some slightly confusing way.

And I need to be completely upright.

And I didn't want to disappoint anyone by not appearing on the podcast.

So here I am.

I'm hoping that that

cupboard backdrop's going to appear in a F1 press conference scene, because people have become very

familiar with your front room from the press conference videos that are put on YouTube and
