America's view of our immigration problem is so focused on Washington and the border, we think that's

where we'll find a quick fix. There's this fantasy of a silver bullet. You know, if only

the administration could just turn off immigration at the southern border

the problem would be solved and obviously doesn't work like that.

Plus, Chris Hayes of MS NBC makes the case for more and better coverage of candidate Trump.

I don't think we're ever going to go back to the wall-to-wall coverage of 2016 and that's a good thing.

I just think the pendulum swung too far in the other direction. It's all coming up after this.
