The Hello and welcome to another episode of the Fully Child Show podcast so excited about this

week's show this is going to be quite a short introduction because it's quite a long

episode now regular viewers of the fully child show may recognize Emma's voice from an episode

we did a couple of years ago where we had a sort of live conversation with an audience when you could have audiences and

Emma was on that panel.

She was fantastic.

She still is fantastic.

I first met her when she worked for Renewables UK which is the trade body that represents

the all the renewables companies the people who install renewables maintain them offshore

wind solar the batteries, the

integration into the grid, all that stuff. That was her job when I first met her. She's

now since moved on. She's been head-hunted by not just renewables, but the energy industry in the UK.

And we did talk about this, so I'm not going to go on about it a lot now, but she now works for it.

She is the chief executive of Energy UK, which again is the chief executive chief executive of energy UK which again is the body that

represents all the energy companies in the United Kingdom from from coal plants to

nuclear to offshore wind to gas turbines all those things.

She represents although she's extraordinarily well-informed

and a real clear thinker about the task ahead of us.

And so it is really wonderful that she came on the show.
