By way of beginning, can you tell people how long you've been focused on the Islamic Republic?

Oh, well, first of all, thank you for having me. Great to be here. I guess about 20 years. I worked in the White House for George W. Bush from 2005 to 7, I was in charge of the Middle East at the National Security Council.

And I spent more time reading intelligence on Iran than anything else when I was there.

Okay. That's why I called you in. I want to find out. Do you want, if President Trump calls you

today and says, Mike, what do you want me to do about Iran?
