0:30.3	All right, so I've wanted to chat with you since I read the piece and we're going to link
0:36.3	to the piece below and I hope everyone will read it.
0:39.3	But for people watching right now that have no idea about any of this, can you sort of
0:44.0	sum up the piece first and then we'll kind of get into everything that's happened since
0:47.9	then.
0:48.9	Sure.
0:49.9	Basically for the last, I'd say four to five years, there's been an increasing change
0:58.4	in the culture of the school as it started to implement what it calls and its anti-racist
1:04.2	programming in the grades that I, you know, in the high school that I teach.
1:10.2	So grades nine through 12 there.
1:13.0	And I've noticed like a series of very concerning things were happening there and basically a
1:21.8	stifling of expression, you know, to the point where kids were afraid to be silent, they
1:29.2	were expected to say things, say the right things.
1:32.9	If they, if they didn't say the right things, they were flagged as problematic in emails.
1:39.7	And a lot of this was designed to sort of create a certain culture, a culture that's based
1:46.1	on this critical race theory essentially.
