When I became a Christian, it was my community confirming, okay, I think you have a teaching

gift and all the all those types of things and then I started to do poetry.

But it was never on my radar that this was a work that would be profitable per se.

It was like, no, I'm just, I'm gonna work at Wendy's and I'm a do ministry and that's,

that's okay.

And I still think that's okay just because I think just because you have a passion doesn't

mean that you're like God or Providence is obligated to put you in the field where

you can live out your passion, you know, I think that's a super American way of understanding

work and things like that.

But I think I started to pay attention to the way God was moving where he, he was making

it possible that I could do what I love and care for myself and my family.

And so when I saw that, it was like, oh, maybe I can leave Wendy's and be okay, you know,

when I saw that it was a wise decision to make rather than just a passion project.
