Certainly it was a busy day on the streets of Birmingham, as most days in Birmingham tend to be, but all the SEC coaches were in town today. And that means, as of this moment, Brian Harrison at Auburn, we're going to go all the way out to the West Coast, something I've been accused of not doing nearly enough.

we decided to spare them the task, unenviable task, of going head to head Super Bowl versus late kick on a Sunday night. It's just, you know, it's not a battle that we want to fight. We pick and choose. So we will cede this Sunday to the NFL. I'm going to drive home tonight actually after the show, so I'll be in Georgia. situation. What's the very latest out of Auburn? I am stunned that there is no resolution to this.

Quite frankly, when I last spoke with you, at least from this studio, it was on Sunday. It was

four days ago. And I thought that a move was imminentinent, and I thought that Brian Harrison was going to stay on that beach in Mexico forever because he wouldn't have a job waiting when he got back. Well, that's not the case, at least so far. Birmingham, Alabama was the place to be today. You know, they had the coaches meeting. In fact, we got some video of it. We can roll.
