I think we can offer a different perspective on what you know about allergies. And we've both seen it quite a bit in clinical practice. So Lauren, let's talk a little about allergies. |

0:43.7 | You know, I feel like allergies are becoming more and more of an issue. |

1:01.2 | enlighten me. Okay. So in the 1940s, arborists started planting mostly male trees because they were litter free, you know, because they didn't, they didn't drop their fruit. And they were less messy. |
1:06.0 | And then in the 1980s, after Dutch elm disease struck, um, they just started replacing them with male trees. |
1:12.8 | And because of that, they, the female trees would produce the seeds, but they produce no pollen. |
1:19.0 | And so because of this, we have all these pollen producing trees around that are not messy, |

1:29.9 | becoming more and more environmentally friendly and less able to breathe. And then more chemicals |
